What is included in my booking?
Direct bookings are usually included:
– Overnight stay with breakfast
– Dinner between 17:30 and 20:30 (!NOT in Bad Schandau and Sebnitz!)
– Use of the wellness area
– Visitor’s tax
Until when can I cancel?
For direct bookings, your reservation can normally be canceled free of charge up to 5 days before arrival. (Unless explicitly stated otherwise on your travel confirmation).
Important: Please send us your travel cancellation in writing, e.g. by e-mail to info@steiger-hotels.de
After expiry of the free cancellation period, we generally charge an 80% cancellation fee. With our partner ALLIANZ Reiseversicherungen you can insure yourself in the event of illness.

How must the trip be paid for?
Your reservation is due for payment at the end of the free cancellation period. You will receive an email from the hotel with an online payment link and can pay conveniently using the payment method of your choice.
I would like to change my booking
Please send us an e-mail with your change request to info@steiger-hotels.de 🙂
If you have booked via a travel agent such as Booking.com, the change must also be made via this channel.
When can I arrive?
The room is available from 13:30 on the day of arrival.
Are you arriving earlier? You are welcome to leave your car with us from 12 noon at the earliest and have your luggage stowed away.
On the day of departure we ask you to return the room by 11 am.
We are arriving late, is that possible?
You are also welcome to arrive after the reception closes.
We will then deposit your key in the key safe at the night entrance and send you an access code by SMS.
Can I park my car earlier or for longer?
Yes 🙂
Do you offer luggage transportation?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service directly.

The Hohnstein tourist information office offers free transfers for luggage and hikers from and to
Hohnstein. This applies to Malerweg stages 2 and 3.
This service is not offered daily and is only available by prior arrangement.

Are there any vouchers?
Yes, you are welcome to buy vouchers from us. Use our online ordering system.
Can I order hotel brochures?
You will find all information on our website. These are always kept up to date.
We therefore do not send out brochures.
Room facilities
How big is the bunk bed
The bunk bed has two normal mattresses 90×200 cm.
Ideal for 2 children/but also possible for adults.
Are bathrobes available?
You will find bathrobes in your room, except in Bad Schandau. In Hohnstein they are available on request at reception.
Is there a kettle?
Yes, kettle, tea glasses and herbal tea are available in the room
Are towels available?
One shower towel and one hand towel per person are provided in the room.
You will find a wellness bag with towels for the wellness area in your room cupboard.
How are the kitchens in the Apparthotel equipped?

The rooms in the “APPARTEMENT” category in the Apparthotel have a small kitchenette for preparing sandwiches or small hot meals.
There are 2 hotplates, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, SENSEO coffee machine and sink as well as dishes and pots. Salt and coffee pods are available.
Is smoking allowed?
Our STEIGER HOTELS are non-smoking establishments.
Smoking is possible in the outdoor area.
Parking, extra beds and special requests
Where can I park?
RATHEN CURE
approx. 7.50 €/day at the hotel, you can have your parking ticket reduced to 4 €.
Rathen is a climatic health resort that cannot be accessed by car.
Unfortunately, this means that you cannot drive directly to the hotel.
To ensure a smooth journey, please enter “Rathen Bahnhof“ or “Parkplatz Oberrathen“ into the navigation system. You can park in the large parking lot and then take the ferry to the hotel shore. A cool start to your vacation
Can I store bicycles?
Apparthotel: Bikes can be parked in the underground garage.
Parkhotel Hohnstein:
You can park your bicycles in specially designed bicycle sheds on the parking lot side at the main entrance. Each bike shed is individually equipped with a lock that only you can open.
Sebnitz: unfortunately no
E-bikes cannot currently be charged.
Steiger Rathen: You can store your bikes in our bike room.
Charging facilities are also available.
Can I use the parking lot earlier or longer?
Arrival day: Access to the parking lot is possible at any time.
Departure day: Departure must take place by 11:00 a.m.
Please note that the parking barriers will neither open nor close from Sunday, 12 noon until Tuesday, 10 a.m. due to our closed days.
Are dogs allowed?
Your four-legged friend is welcome to accompany you in our hotels for a fee of €15 per night.
Please inquire by e-mail and we will send you a confirmation.
Are extra beds possible?
Extra beds are available on request and subject to availability.

Can my child sleep in the parents' bed?
We offer shared rooms.
Children free of charge in the parents’ bed are unfortunately not possible.
Are there baby cribs?
Baby cribs can be pre-booked (29,- € per stay).
You are also welcome to bring your own travel cot.

Please note the rural location of our hotels. Unfortunately, there is rarely high-speed Internet … 🙁

Bad Schandau and Sebnitz
Our hotels in Bad Schandau and Sebnitz are without restaurant, no dinner. You can reach various restaurants and pizzerias within walking distance in Bad Schandau and Sebnitz. Important: Make sure to RESERVE IN ADVANCE!
Hohnstein, Rathen and Hinterhermsdorf
Your room rate includes dinner.
Our dinner takes place from 17:45 to 20:30
Do I have to reserve a table?
No 🙂
Sauna and pool
Our hotels all have a sauna area, which is open daily from 2pm to 8:30pm. Our pool at the Parkhotel opens at 8 am and at the Hotel Elbschlösschen at 7:30 am.
Are there massages or cosmetics in the hotel?
We do not offer this service.

How can I pay at the hotel?
Your travel price is due for payment up to 7 days BEFORE arrival.
You can buy drinks etc. on site.
We accept EC card, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners as well as Apple and Google Pay.
In our hotels NO room bills are possible and we are a cashless hotel – only card payment possible.
